Janssons Frestelse


Ingredients
  • 1,5 kg potatoes
  • 3 large yellow onions
  • 200g anchovy fillets, adapt to taste
  • 2 cups of cream
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 5 tbsp butter

  1. Peel potatoes and cut into fine shreds.
  2. Peel onion, slice it thin and fry in half of the butter in a skillet.
  3. Layer the potatoes, onions and anchovies in a greased ovenproof dish. Potatoes in the bottom and top.
  4. Add half of the cream. Sprinkle withbreadcrumbs and spread the rest of the butter on the top.
  5. Bake at 200 ° C for about 40 minutes in the bottom of the oven. Add the rest of the cream at the edge after just over half of the time.
  6. To reheat later, add some more cream and breadcrumbs. Heat in 225 ° C for 20 min
